Unser heutiges Ziel ist La Fortuna. Auf dem Weg dorthin besuchen wir die Hanging Bridges. Wir schlendern durch den Park und überqueren die 16 Hängebrücken. Die höchste der Brücken ist 45 m hoch. Auf dem 2.6 km langen Rundgang kann man die Aussicht auf die Regenwälder und den Vulkan Arenal geniessen. Wir entdecken ebenfalls verschiedene Vögel und einen Brüllaffen.
Am Abend erholen wir uns bei den Paradise Hot Springs. Diese Hotelanlage hat Hotpots in verschiedenen Temperaturen gekonnt in eine Grünpflanzen Anlagen gebaut und vermittelt so ein wundervolles Regenwald-Gefühl.
Am nächsten Tag entscheide ich, mich im nahe gelegenen Park mit dem Namen "Sloth, Sloth and more Sloth" auf Tiersuche zu begeben.
Gemütlich und fast im Zeitlupen Tempo durchforste ich den Wald. Lange glaube ich, dass dieser Park heute seinem Namen überhaupt keine Ehre macht. Doch dann sehe ich doch noch einen einzigen Sloth.
Den Nachmittag verbringe ich lesend im "Chocolate fusion" und "Friedas Garden" Kaffee und lese ein ganzes Buch durch.
Am Abend erzählen wir uns gegenseitig von unseren Erlebnissen. Ein Teil der Gruppe hat sich sportlich auf eine Wanderung zum Fuss des Vulkans begeben, ein Teil stellt sich dem River Rafting, andere sind wie ich in der Natur auf Tiersuche gewesen und gewisse haben einen gemütlichen Tag verbracht. Jeder nach seinem Gusto.
Our destination today is La Fortuna. On the way there we visit the Hanging Bridges. We stroll through the park and cross the 16 hanging bridges. The highest of the bridges is 45 m high. On the 2.6 km long walk we can enjoy the view of the rainforests and the Arenal Volcano. We also discover different birds and a howler monkey.
In the evening we relax at the Paradise Hot Springs. This hotel complex has hotpots in different temperatures skillfully built into a green plant plant and thus conveys a wonderful rainforest feeling.
The next day I decide to go in search of animals in the nearby park called "Sloth, Sloth and more Sloth".
Leisurely and almost in slow motion speed I search the forest. For a long time I think that this park does no honor to its name today. But finally I see a single Sloth.
The afternoon I spend reading in the "Chocolate fusion" and "Friedas Garden" coffee and read a whole book through.
In the evening we tell each other about our experiences.A part of the group has gone on a sporty hike to the foot of the volcano, a part faces the river rafting, others have been like me in nature in search of animals and certain have spent a leisurely day. Each according to his own taste.
